The La Verne women’s water polo team showed their eagerness to prove themselves as a competitive opponent in SCIAC as they took the 13-10 win against the Cal Lutheran Regals Saturday afternoon at the La Verne Aquatic Center.
The La Verne women’s water polo team dropped its Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference home opener in a buzzer-beating 11-10 thriller against the Claremont-Mudd-Scripps Athenas Wednesday evening at the La Verne Aquatic Center in Las Flores Park.
It has been a winning two weeks for the women’s water polo team. The Leopards took down the Chapman Panthers, 15-11, in their final stretch of Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference games March 30 at the La Verne Aquatic Center.
The women’s water polo team could not match the Pomona-Pitzer Sagehens' speed in a 14-9 loss Sunday evening at the La Verne Aquatic Center. The Leopards now stand 2-2 in Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference play while the Sagehens remain in the No. 1 seed in the division.
The women’s water polo team performed well late in a 12-6 loss against the Whittier Poets on Wednesday afternoon at the La Verne Aquatic Center. Due to the cancellation of last week's game against Redlands, this was the Leopards’ first Southern California Intercollegiate Conference game of the season.
