The softball team made its first NCAA Championship appearance in seven years on Saturday. The team traveled to Tyler, Texas for the Regional tournament hosted by Texas-Tyler at Suddenlink Field.

Alexis Schiff has a full list of accomplishments as a student and softball player at the University of La Verne and has now added the Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Athlete of the Year as an accolade during her senior year.
The Leopards went into the Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Postseason Tournament on a high after their last conference win, making them SCIAC champions for the second year in a row. The team only lost one game throughout the weekend, ending the tournament 4-1.

The La Verne cross country team participated in the 2015 NCAA West Regionals Saturday at Pomona-Pitzer. The men’s team placed 17th out of 19 and the women’s team did not place because a majority of its runners were unable to finish.
The women’s volleyball team’s season came to an abrupt end Friday with a loss to No. 21 Trinity Tigers, 3-0, in the first round of the NCAA West Regional Tournament at Gilbert Sports Arena.
Although it was a tough weekend for the women’s volleyball team, things started looking up Monday after the team found out it received a regional bid to play No. 21 Trinity Texas in the NCAA Division III tournament.
