Fiesta celebrates cultural diversity

Over 500 people came out to the 72nd annual OLA Fiesta for a family day of fun, entertainment and food on Saturday at Our Lady of the Assumption Parish in Claremont. The event spanned from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m., so families could make an entire day of fun for the weekend.

A dance to remember

Sixto Cervera, 90, dances with Connie Weir to “La Bamba” performed by the Licata Brothers, Tony and Jimmy, at an ice cream social Saturday sponsored by Our Lady of Assumption in Claremont.

Families enjoy carnival fun at OLA

Carnival rides, international food, live entertainment and bingo games filled Claremont’s Our Lady of the Assumption Catholic Church grounds Friday, Saturday and Sunday at the 68th annual OLA Fiesta.
