Following a difficult loss to Claremont-Mudd-Scripps last week, the men’s water polo team dominated the competition at the Gary Troyer Invitational with a 3-1 record on the weekend.
The women’s water polo team began Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference play against Claremont-Mudd-Scripps Wednesday at Axelrod Pool, and came out on top, defeating the Athenas, 10-9, the first time in nearly 10 years.
The women’s water polo team did not score in the third quarter, as it suffered a 17-4 loss to UC San Diego in the fourth game of the Claremont Convergence Tournament Saturday at Haldeman Pool.
The men’s water polo team defeated Gannon, 17-13, in game three to cap off the Gary Troyer Memorial Tournament Saturday at the La Verne Aquatics Center.
