No excuse for not donating to less fortunate

The holidays are around the corner and there are boxes scattered around the Student Center to collect canned foods for those individuals who are less fortunate.

Campus Ministry holds flea market

The University of La Verne Campus Ministry held a free flea market on Saturday in the University Mall near the Chapel in hopes of helping those less fortunate and at the same time providing a chance for the community to come together.

ASF Minutes

The University of La Verne's Associated Student Federation (ASF) Forum met in the West Dining Room on Wednesday, March 10, at 8:37 a.m. Forum members discussed upcoming plans for additional student activities – including another bowling night. They reviewed the progress of ticket sales for this year's spring dance and also allocated funds to benefit the Crippled Children's Society.

Annual Crop Walk helps hungry

The 24th annual Crop Walk for the Hungry took place last Sunday in Upland.

LV students join AIDS Walk L.A.

Paramount Pictures was the location of the annual AIDS Walk Los Angeles (AWLA) which brought about 46,000 people, together including some from the University of La Verne. Participants spent the afternoon walking the 10k walk to help raise money for people who suffer from HIV and AIDS.
