Traditions have always been a significant part of the University of La Verne community. But this week, members of the Associated Students Federation (ASF) Forum opted to revise the University's largest tradition -- Homecoming -- by cutting down on the events to which students, administration and alumni can look forward.
Plenty of school gear and spirit dominated the University of La Verne last week as a result of the 77th annual Homecoming/Spirit Week, entitled "Leopalooza: A Tribute to Rock n' Roll," sponsored by the Associated Students Federation (ASF) Forum.
Participation and spirit during this year's Homecoming week were high, but University of La Verne students have the capability of doing much more to bleed orange and green. Confusion, disappointment and limitations should never be an issue when it comes to showing one's love and dedication to a university.
