Phi Sci Honor Society members gather in the Ludwick Center before the start of the Psi Chi Research Conference on Saturday. Undergraduate students, graduate students and professors in psychology came to present their research at the conference.
Nicole Mahrer, assistant professor of psychology, presented “Virtual Acceptance and Commitment Therapy For Youth with Chronic Illnesses” for the University of La Verne on Tuesday in the Quay Davis Board Room.
Two research assistants, John Calvo and Natalya Khutsishvili, who worked in the University of La Verne’s research lab, have published a paper on the value of using rats in behavioral neuropsychiatry in the peer-reviewed neuroscience journal Impulse, which focuses on undergraduate research work in the neurosciences.
Amy Demyan, professor of psychology, talked about the benefits of yoga and guided an audience of 25 students and faculty through a yoga session on Tuesday in the Lewis Center.
