The Fairplex in Pomona is currently housing 78 horses and one donkey displaced by the Bridge Fire, which started in Angeles National Forest on Sept. 8 and accelerated rapidly in those next few days.
Nestled in the back at the Los Angeles County Fair is a rare but sweet find. The Fairplex’s Millard Sheets Art Center presents the show “You Are Here: California Photography Now,” which brings photographs made by contemporary artists.
The Los Angeles County Fair returned as the Bite-Sized Fair on Friday – after being cancelled last year – as a smaller version with a limited number of rides, games, food and shopping.
