“Captain Marvel,” tells an inspiring, fierce and powerful story of a woman superhero in an unseen time period in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. 

Director Joss Whedon had a lot of expectation thrust upon his shoulders with the high standards of audience members. Lucky for Marvel fans and executives alike the movie did not disappoint, with a record breaking $200.3 million made in the box office opening weekend in America, and a whopping $441.5 million overseas.

After the success of the original “XXX,” it seemed natural to release a sequel. Fortunately, Vin Diesel does not play the title character in “XXX: State of the Union.” Unfortunately, Ice Cube does.
