Claremont hosted its monthly Art Walk Saturday evening in the Claremont Village, where local galleries and businesses showcased a variety of artists work, including Studio C, an art gallery and studio featuring handmade jewelry; Bunny Gunner, custom framing; Crescent Tree Real Estate, and many more.
National CORE, a nonprofit affordable housing developer, is leading a permanent supportive housing project, 740 Foothill Community, in an unincorporated area of Los Angeles County between the cities of San Dimas and La Verne. Both cities are opposed to the project.
Family and friends were invited to dress up as their favorite superheroes for the San Dimas Superhero 5K run/walk on Saturday. All proceeds went to The Crime Survivors Resource Center, whose vision is for victims of crime to recover from their experience mentally, emotionally and financially by receiving support from their community, law enforcement and the judicial system.
