Set to retire in July, Lieberman reflects on her legacy

Grant to fund business ethics position

The University of La Verne College of Business and Public Management recently received a $1.5 million grant from the Richard and Beth Landis Foundation for  an endowed professor position in business leadership and ethics. 

$2 million donation will establish center for economic development

The University of La Verne received a $2 million donation from regional real estate developer and philanthropist Randall Lewis for the establishment of the Randall Lewis Center for Entrepreneurship, Innovation, and Social Impact, which will focus on economic development and opportunities for ULV and the surrounding communities.

Virtual Scholarship Gala takes in $605,000

The University of La Verne took the annual Scholarship Gala – traditionally a black tie dinner event – to a virtual realm this year, and still raised $605,000 in donations for the scholarship fund, exceeding the goal of $100,000 for Saturday’s event. 

Emergency fund to help students at risk in pandemic financial crisis

To help students who are facing financial challenges amid the COVID-19 crisis, the University has created a student emergency fund, with donations by the broader University of La Verne community, with a matching fund from an anonymous donor.

Campaign aims for $125m

The University of La Verne has raised more than $82 million in gifts and pledges toward its comprehensive fundraising campaign “Create the Future.”
