This week more than 40 men and women rushed for bids from the six fraternities and sororities on campus.

Sigma Alpha Epsilon hosted their own version of “The Dating Game” as a rush event with their Violets, at their house on Wednesday night.

Aaron Kiel, a ULV sophomore, filed a lawsuit on October 11, 1994 against the University of La Verne, Sigma Alpha Epsilon Fraternity, James Coiner of Coiner Nursery in La Verne and six other defendants in the Sigma Alpha Epsilon fraternity for assault, negligence and property, compensatory, general and punitive damages.

Joining together for a common goal, ULV greeks have combined their forces to serve the community with the organizations’ first Charity Greek Week.

With the new “deferred rush” provision now in effect, all six respective fraternities and sororities opened their doors to prospective members during Rush Week.
