Sowing Seeds for Life held a food drive at Real Life Church of LA in Glendora Saturday morning, where food was available for anyone experiencing food insecurity.
From feeding neighbors from a single seed to now feeding over 6,000 people each month, Sowing Seeds for Life provides groceries twice a month to families who live in Los Angeles County between downtown Los Angeles and Claremont.
The Interfaith Student Council held a day of service event with the Grow Better Together campaign on Saturday. It was a volunteer day dedicated to planting and cleaning community gardens. There was also a canned food and toy drive.
