Intramurals end with a nail-biter

The Monstarz defeated Phi Delta Theta in the Campus Activities Board’s intramural volleyball tournament finals Wednesday night at the Frantz Athletic Court.

To celebrate students’ participation in the recent elections, Greek life came together to host a lunch in Sneaky Park. There was a hamburger lunch, a live band named Third Degree Blues, free ice cream trucks, voting-themed stickers and pins, and a painting station. The painting station included canvases available to be painted by students in order to be hung for display on Veterans Day. Painting for a change

To celebrate students’ participation in the recent elections, Greek life came together to host a lunch in Sneaky Park.

On Monday, August 27th, the ASULV, Campus Activities Board, and the Residence Hall Association kicked off the semester with comedian Brian Moote, who was graduated from the University of La Verne in 2004. Moote, who played basketball as an undergraduate, performed for a full crowd in the Campus Center, where he told jokes about his family, especially the things his mother said to him.

Alumnus starts the year with laughter

The Campus Activities Board welcomed back the students at the University of La Verne on Aug. 27 in the Campus Center Ballroom for a night of laughter.

Stüssy clothing was brought to the University of La Verne Dec. 1 in the West Dining Room as an outlet sale to raise funds for the Phi Delta Theta fraternity.

Students hold silent protest for LGBT rights

On April 15, the University of La Verne’s Sneaky Park, a place usually filled with students talking and laughing, was the location of Rainbow Alliance’s Day of Silence demonstration.
