Junior named Newman Civic Fellow

Drake Ingram, a junior criminology major and Campus Times photographer, was recently named a 2022-2023 Newman Civic Fellow along with 172 student civic leaders from 38 states by Campus Compact, a national coalition of educational institutions that work to help improve civic and community engagement in higher education. 

New students, program highlighted

New beginnings were a common theme throughout the University of La Verne’s convocation ceremony Aug. 29, which welcomed freshmen, and also the first class in the University’s new physician’s assistant graduate program.

Awards honor faculty, staff service

The 2018 Faculty and Staff Recognition Ceremony, held last Friday, began with recognition of several faculty members for their 5-year service, followed by 10, 15, and so forth to retirement.

Award recognizes spirit and values

The University of La Verne honored individuals and groups that portray the University’s core values of community engagement, diversity, inclusivity and interfaith cooperation at its fourth annual Spirit of La Verne Recognition Ceremony Monday night at the Church of the Brethren.
