A New York University study last year found that 70 percent of college students are stressed because of finances. Another study, this one from the Cooperative Institutional Research Program at UCLA, found that college freshmen are reporting the lowest levels of emotional well-being since the study started in 1985.
While trying to balance school and extracurricular activities, 80 percent of college students find themselves in stressful situations, according to a recent study by the Associated Press.
