The women’s water polo team lost their defensive strength in their senior night game against Cal Lutheran, losing 14-9 Wednesday afternoon at the La Verne Aquatic Center.
It has been a winning two weeks for the women’s water polo team. The Leopards took down the Chapman Panthers, 15-11, in their final stretch of Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference games March 30 at the La Verne Aquatic Center.
The women’s water polo team could not match the Pomona-Pitzer Sagehens' speed in a 14-9 loss Sunday evening at the La Verne Aquatic Center. The Leopards now stand 2-2 in Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference play while the Sagehens remain in the No. 1 seed in the division.
The women’s water polo team performed well late in a 12-6 loss against the Whittier Poets on Wednesday afternoon at the La Verne Aquatic Center. Due to the cancellation of last week's game against Redlands, this was the Leopards’ first Southern California Intercollegiate Conference game of the season.
With restrictions in California starting to lift it also meant that I was finally able to start practicing in person with the women’s water polo team and getting in the water to train on April 5.
