Supertents celebrate 50th anniversary

The University of La Verne is celebrating the 50th anniversary of the Supertents this year.

Preparing for Inauguration

The University of La Verne’s tents received a cleaning by workers from the Industrial Structure Cleaning Company last Friday. Cameron Campbell was strapped to a harness so he could scale the tent while he washed the top of the Dailey Theatre. The cleaning was in preparation for the Inauguration of President Devorah Lieberman today.

Pavilion delays return to normalcy

After a five-month delay, the ULV administration finally approved for the renovation of the Sports Science and Athletic Pavilion, formerly known as the Supertents, to break ground. The target completion date for the pavilion came and went on Oct. 15, leaving the chain link fence up and dirt mounds tall on the construction site.

Renovation displaces athletic programs at ULV

University of La Verne administration, faculty, athletes and students alike stumbled over the new construction around the university in the first weeks of the fall semester. The construction consists of a new Campus Center which includes a student plaza, a chilled water central plant and a major renovation to the Sports Science and Athletics Pavilion formerly known as the Supertents.
