A small group of seven students, staff and faculty gathered at the Ludwick Center lawn to build a sukkah in celebration of the beginning of the Jewish holiday Sukkot.
After months of social distance and isolation, University of La Verne students and faculty got together to celebrate and affirm the bonds of the community on Nov. 5 over Zoom.
Around 70 members of the La Verne community gathered on the grassy area in front of the University’s Chapel to show their solidarity with the Jewish and black communities in light of the tragedies of last week.
