While some University of La Verne students think first semester freshmen should be able to take all of their classes pass/fail, or ungraded, the majority responding to an informal survey said they prefer letter grades for all. 

After fights for transgender rights accomplished widespread installation of gender neutral bathrooms in recent years, some universities are providing free menstrual products in men’s restrooms to accommodate students who identify as a gender different than their anatomic sex. This step shows that institutions are willing to support their diverse student bodies.

The University of La Verne men's water polo team took on top competitors last weekend in the 10th annual Claremont Convergence Tournament hosted by Claremont McKenna College and Pomona-Pitzer.
