The men’s water polo team’s win streak was short-lived, as they took two home losses this week, falling to Cal Lutheran 11-7 on Saturday and to Whittier 18-8 on Wednesday.

The Leopards traveled to Whittier Friday to beat the Poets, 9-6. Then the two teams matched up for a doubleheader Saturday at Ben Hines Field, which La Verne swept, 10-4 and 7-6.
The softball team has clinched its third-straight Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference title.
