The ULV campus remains a supportive, forward-thinking community. Since some struggle with many issues revolving around sexuality, the Rainbow Alliance has decided to incorporate this notion in its celebration of National Coming Out Day, Oct. 11.
Saying it was in order to better assist the faculty, staff and students, Alden J. Reimonenq, ULV’s provost and vice president for academic affairs, has reorganized the structure of the academic affairs department, naming four new vice presidents to support him in his role as provost.
Among the several activities the Housing and Residential Life hosted as a part of diversity programming and Pride Week, “Faith – Somewhere Over the Rainbow?” created an open forum for interested parties wanting to know how faith plays into the lives of the homosexual community.

In response to the article regarding the class evaluations (“Evals in need of examination,” Sept. 28), I agree that it is a rather tedious/long evaluation and really does not have pertinent questions to better evaluate the class.
