The University of La Verne’s Associated Student Federation (ASF) Forum met in the ASF Conference Room Wednesday, Oct. 21, at 8:34 a.m. In addition to updating progress for the remainder of this week’s Homecoming activities, the Forum also discussed the proposal of an idea to sponsor a winter dance for the University’s student body.
Election results for the transfer and freshman positions have been determined by the Associated Student Federation (ASF) Forum and the University of La Verne student body.
As a guest to his cousin, former Prime Minister of Pakistan Benazir Bhutto, Dr. Ahmed Ispahani had the opportunity to attend the annual Bakersfield Business Conference in Bakersfield, Calif., Saturday. The conference, themed “The World Comes to Bakersfield,” featured various world leaders and was sponsored by the Borton, Petrini & Conron law firm.

After La Verne Fire Department firefighters determined that Davenport Dining Hall’s blaze was under control, fire officials entered the facility to investigate the extent of damages. In doing so, it was evident that the concentration of the blaze was at the office of Frank Crescenzo, executive chef for Davenport.
