In its first year competing, the University of La Verne’s Students in Free Enterprise team is making a name for themselves both regionally and nationally.
The University of La Verne’s women’s water polo team finished seventh in the Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference championships.
The women’s tennis team finished in fifth place in the Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference tournaments last weekend in Eagle Rock.
In their last home match of the season the women’s tennis team beat Caltech, 5-4 on April 15 to finish the conference in fifth place.
On March 7, the La Verne men’s tennis team played its last home match of the season losing to Occidental, 9-0.
On March 24 the University of La Verne held its 10th Athletic Hall of Fame ceremony.
