With the close of the 2006 softball season, the La Verne softball team went out in style.

The University of La Verne women’s track and field team traveled to Claremont to compete with some of the selected best in the Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference in the Claremont Classic Track and Field Meet, Saturday.
University of La Verne student athletes with a grade point average of 3.5 or higher were honored Wednesday with lunch in the Old Gym.
With Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference play over, the University of La Verne men’s tennis team had the honor and privilege to send two of there best to postseason play.
