Todd Lorenz, Assistant Professor of Biology discussed his research with phages at the President’s Dining Room on Tuesday, September 29. The dotplot shows a nucleotide sequence comparison of mycobacteriophages, the primary component in assembling phages into clusters. Last week, Lorenz was the most viewed researcher from the University of La Verne Biology Department on Research Gate, a social networking site that is used by scientists and researchers to collaborate, share information, and communicate with each other.

Assistant Professor of Biology Todd Lorenz highlighted his students’ research work in sequencing bacteriophage genomes in his lecture, “Whole genome comparison of large collection of mycobacteriophages reveals a continuum of phage genetic diversity” Tuesday in the President’s Dining Room.
