Sam Maloof Exhibition
Between April 4 and May 2 in the Millard Sheets Gallery (Building 3) at the Fairplex, 25-30 pieces of furniture from the Sam and Alfreda Maloof Foundation Collection will be shown. The pieces of furniture show the evolution of Maloof’s designs from 1950 to the present. The exhibit is open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and admission is free.
At 5 p.m. on April 3, there will be an opening reception where Maloof will sign his latest book, “The Furniture of Sam Maloof.” Admission for the reception is $65.

Cool Cruise VIII
April 10 will see the return of the vintage car show to Old Town La Verne. About 700 vehicles will be on display, including the showcase vehicles: Willys, Altereds and Gassers. There will also be live entertainment, raffles and food. All ages are welcome.
‘Through the Loophole’
Starting April 12 and running through May 28, the University of La Verne Harris Art Gallery will present a multimedia installation by digital artist Lucy H. Griesbach called “Through the Loophole.” The exhibition will feature Griesbach’s works, which mix the world of science with the practical. The gallery is open to the public Monday through Friday.
