Faculty Lecture
The next presentation in the Faculty Research Lecture Series is Aghop Der-Karabetian, Jeanne Flora, Marga Madhuri and Yingxia Cao’s “Mission Assessment of La Verne Senior Projects, Master’s Papers and Dissertations” on Tuesday at noon in PDR.
The following Tuesday’s lecture is Gabriela Capraroiu’s “Restitutions of Modernism: The Romanian Connection.”
GRE Seminar
There will be a free seminar centered on the GRE on Monday, from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. in Founders Auditorium. The presentation is being offered by Psi Chi, the National Honor Society in Psychology. Students will be provided with examples of the GRE and will learn good test-taking skills. Attendees will be provided with a free folder with practice problems, writing pads and other freebies.
Flu Vaccine
The Student Health Center will be offering flu shots from Oct. 13-24 for a fee of $14. For information and to make an appointment, call ext. 4254.
