Prospective questions

While some University of La Verne students think first semester freshmen should be able to take all of their classes pass/fail, or ungraded, the majority responding to an informal survey said they prefer letter grades for all. 

The University’s annual homecoming festivities began with a 5K run on Saturday that started on the Citrus Lawn, next was the street fair on C and Second streets in front of the Campus Center, then the Mission Brewing pre-game party in the Quad. The evening ended with  the Homecoming football game 

Gov. Gavin Newsom last month signed Assembly Bill 1780, banning private colleges across the state from considering legacy students when accepting students into a university.

In light of this, the student bar association at the University of La Verne held its affirmative action panel on Nov. 3 in the Morgan Auditorium.  About 40 people showed up for the event.
