Choral Showcase
The Chamber Singers, University Chorale, the Leo Singing Dudes and the A Team will perform a showcase at 8 p.m. Oct. 25 and 26 in Morgan Auditorium. General admission is $10 and students are free.
‘44 Days’
The Carlson Gallery will display photographer David Burnett’s exhibit, “44 Days – Iran and The Remaking of The World.” The exhibit opens Oct. 21 and runs through Dec. 13. Admission is free. There will be an accompanying lecture by Burnett at 4 p.m. Nov. 21 in the Campus Center Ballroom A. There will be a reception immediately following the lecture in the gallery.
‘Peace in the Heart of War’
A faculty recital featuring adjunct professors of music soprano Carol Stephenson, tenor Jonathan Mack and pianist Grace Xia Zhao will be performed at 6 p.m. Oct. 25 in Morgan Auditorium. There is a $20 suggested donation and students are in free.
‘American Nightmare’
Rob Zombie’s “Great American Nightmare” will present punk bands the Vandals, T.S.O.L. and the Dickies at 6:30 p.m. Saturday at the Fairplex. Tickets range from $35 to $80. For more information visit greatamericannightmare.com.
Glass House
The Glass House in Pomona is presenting an all-ages free show featuring Squire, Suedehead, The Question and the Inciters at 8 p.m. Saturday.
Rock bands zZz, Chicano Batman and Cogito will perform an all-ages show at 7 p.m. on Oct. 20. Tickets for that show range from $10 to $12.
