Tall Wall Space
“Edifice Artifice” by Cole M. James is currently on display in the Tall Wall Space in the Arts and Communications Building. The site-specific installation includes materials such as velvet, lace, glitter and concrete.
The exhibit runs through May 17, 2019. Admission is free.

Los Hermanos Arango
The Cuban group Los Hermanos Arango will give a free workshop and performance in Afro-Cuban folklore and jazz funk at 4:30 p.m. Sunday in Morgan Auditorium.

Guitar Recital
The University of La Verne Guitar Ensemble will perform contemporary flamenco and Latin jazz music at 7:30 p.m. Nov. 30 in Morgan Auditorium.

West African Drum Recital
Students in the West African Drumming class will present a night dedicated to the percussive traditions of West Africa, combining the historic hand drum, djembe, with other instruments at 6 p.m. Dec. 5 in Morgan Auditorium.

Chalk Art Festival
Downtown Pomona will host its annual chalk festival where students, community members and professional artists will create Route 66-themed masterpieces made entirely out of chalk.
The Chalk Art Festival will start at 7:45 a.m. Nov. 10 in the Shaun Diamond Plaza outside city hall.
