Raising the flag

Early in the morning, Bill Myers of the Maintenance and Operations Department raises the flags in front of Founders Hall. The flag with the new ULV logo began appearing the week before school opened. Conceptualized by Brian Worley, director of facilities management, the flag project was implemented by Bruce Baron, vice president of administration and finance. Facilities to spend summer safeguarding science labs following gas leak

Early in the morning on April 30, students in Founders and Mainiero halls were evacuated due to a gas leak, after the fire alarm was pulled. The fire department arrived quickly to resolve the issue. 

Lab gas leak cleaned up quickly

On Wednesday Founders Hall and the Mainiero Building were evacuated due to a gas leak after the building marshall activated the fire alarm.
