The National Collegiate Athletic Association – in compliance with the Trump Administration’s dubious executive order titled “Keeping Men Out of Women’s Sports” – updated its rules on transgender student-athletes earlier this year.
A “Gold Standard” motivational speaking event was hosted by the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee Tuesday, in the Athletic Pavilion before an audience of about 20.
Waking up early in the morning, having classes from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m., then heading to the weight room, then straight to practice until about 7 p.m., doing homework until the middle of the night, and repeating it all the next day. That is a typical day in the life of a student-athlete in college.
