Due to wet and stormy weather, the University of La Verne’s baseball team postponed its scheduled games for last weekend against Cal Lutheran until April 13-14.

ULV returns 12 players from the 2000 roster, and along with first year coach Scott Winterburn, they look to improve last year’s 15-6 SCIAC record.

ULV came away with second place in SCIAC in 2000. Winterburn will lead this group into SCIAC play that looks ready to compete in 2001 and opens today against Caltech.
