Installation on Tall Wall

The artwork of artist Julia Latané, a unique blend of organic and synthetic materials that inspire dreamy ponderings, called “Hither,” will be on display in the Tall Wall Space in the Arts and Communications Building from Oct. 17 to Jan. 12. A reception for the artist will be held Tuesday from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Admission is free.

Homecoming Theater shows

A theater festival of students, faculty, staff, alumni and families will be held on Oct. 14 from noon to 6 p.m. in the Cabaret Theatre. A film presentation of alumnus Obren Milanovic will also be shown at 7:30 p.m. Admission is free, but donations to fund guest workshops and scholarships will be accepted.  For more information call the box office at (909) 593-3511, Ext. 4386.

Prism seeks submissions

The Prism Review Limited Edition Chapbook Series No. 2 is now accepting submissions of handwritten poems from writers on and off campus, here and abroad. Submissions must be in original form and should be sent with a Prism Review submissions cover sheet, available on the Web site, and a $5.00 entry fee to receive a copy of the final chapbook.  For  detailed submission guidelines please visit clubs.ulv.edu/~pmag/.

Voice in Action reading
