Heat wave replaced with downpour

On Wednesday storm clouds blanketed La Verne, bringing rain and cold weather to Southern California. Within one week Southern California went from daytime highs exceeding 100 degrees to temperatures in the low-to-mid 60s. The change of the seasons was felt Wednesday as the University was greeted with rain.
