Claremont’s Friday Nights Live has weekly outdoor concerts from May through October.
Last week’s included Michael Ryan and Sneeky Park, High Strung Band, Small Town Magic and The Burning Doors.
Each band had its own style. Small Town Magic, made up of Larry and Rhonda Jackson of Claremont play folk, blues and country music.
“We have been playing (together) for 18 years and enjoy spending time together while we perform, making memories,” Larry Jackson said.
“We have been playing Friday Nights Live for about seven years,” Rhonda Jackson added.
The Burning Doors is a Door’s tribute band.
Ra Leon, lead singer, explained how they came to be.
“We are huge fanatics of The Doors,” Leon said. “We like to rock in Claremont and any venue.”
The bands, which play at different spots across the city, will be livening things up till November.
