‘Harmony in History’

The Campus Activities Board will host Shaun Booth, recording artist and motivational speaker, for its “Harmony in History” event. Booth will tell the story of the most influential African-Americans in history through song from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday in the Campus Center Ballroom.

Musical Theater Concert

The University of La Verne Theatre Arts Department presents an evening of solo musical performances at 7 p.m. Saturday in Morgan Auditorium. Admission is free with a student ID. 

‘Elemental Opposites’

Take a look at the world unfiltered with the “Elemental Opposites,” a solo exhibit by junior photography major Chris Rogers, in the Ground Floor Gallery in Miller Hall. The exhibit is runs through until March 18. Admission is free. For more information, contact Fred Brashear at fbrashear@laverne.edu.

Bella

Celebrate Women’s History Month by watching “Bella,” a documentary filmed by University of La Verne Digital Film Production Professor Morgan Sandler. The first showtime will be at 9 p.m. March 6 on PBS SoCal. There will also be additional showtimes on:

  • 9 p.m. March 21
  • 3 a.m. March 22
  • 9:30 p.m. March 28 
  • 2 a.m., 8 a.m., 2 p.m. March 29
  • 7:30 p.m. on March 31
