Magic Mountain
From Monday through April 4, KULV will be giving away 50 pairs of Magic Mountain tickets. Winners will be entered to win a chance for two tickets to be the first to ride Magic Mountain’s new extreme roller coaster “Scream” before it opens to the public.

Blood Shortage
The San Bernardino blood bank reports that the Inland Valley is facing a blood shortage. The blood supply has fallen to half of acceptable levels with the O-negative blood supply almost depleted.

Moot Court Victory
The University of La Verne College of Law moot court team was ranked No. 1 overall at the Hispanic National Bar Association’s National Moot Court Competition on March 21 and 22 in Dallas, Texas. The ULV team prevailed over schools like Stanford University and George Washington University.
Walter Cronkite
The Museum of Television and Radio will be hosting a satellite seminar series “A Conversation with Walter Cronkite” at 3:30 p.m., Monday in La Fetra Auditorium. Cronkite is one of the most revered names in broadcast news, spending more than 60 years as a journalist. Over 40 of his years were spent at CBS.
