FLOAT, or Fly Over All Traffic, promoting air travel for commuters who drive more than 50 miles offered a demo flight Monday, from Brackett Field Airport in La Verne to Santa Monica. By car that commute could take an hour-and-a-half or more. But the flight is just 15 minutes. The view out of the nine-passenger Mokulele plane shows 405 Freeway stretching south into the horizon.
