The Federal Aviation Administration and the National Transportation Safety Board are investigating a plane crash that happened at around 11 a.m., Sunday at the In-N-Out Burger Pomona Dragstrip during the National Hot Rods Association finals.
FLOAT, or Fly Over All Traffic, promoting air travel for commuters who drive more than 50 miles offered a demo flight Monday, from Brackett Field Airport in La Verne to Santa Monica. By car that commute could take an hour-and-a-half or more. But the flight is just 15 minutes. The view out of the nine-passenger Mokulele plane shows 405 Freeway stretching south into the horizon.
