Claremont Art Walk

Participating galleries will be showcasing their array of pieces throughout the Claremont Village for the monthly Claremont Art Walk starting at 6 p.m. on Saturday. Admission is free. 

The Haven

Free The Youth presents a concert with Blair Gun, Sept, Funds for Jimmy and Eric Schroeder on Saturday. Doors open at 7 p.m. and ticket sales can be found on The Haven’s website starting at $12 for presale and $15 the day of the show. 

‘Tracing the Edge’

The Benton Museum of Art at Pomona College presents an exhibition bringing together leading historical Hard-Edge painters with four contemporary artists based in Southern California to spark questions of class, spirituality, memory and politics. The exhibit runs through Jan. 7, 2024. Admission is free. 

Trastero Art-Making

In preparation for Dia de Los Muertos, the Ontario Museum of History and Art is hosting an art workshop to create ceramic bisqueware unique to one’s own design. The class runs from noon to 4 p.m. Saturday. Register online at ontariomuseum.org/programs.

Harris Gallery

“dEE-lie-LA, Poderosa, The Healers: An Exploration of Wellness” will be showcasing 13 student exhibitions in the Harris Gallery along with a biennial exhibition created by Martin Durazo. These pieces will be open to the public starting Sept. 5 and will run until Oct. 12. The opening reception is on Sept. 12 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Admission is free.
