The Harris Art Gallery’s “Cluttercore, Rasquachismo, and the Indelible Need to Display” exhibit of paintings, assemblage, and installation runs through Nov. 30. The reception at 6 p.m. Tuesday will consider the recent trend of the maximalist interior design aesthetic. The exhibit demonstrates the beauty of personalization and personal taste and style.

‘The Thanksgiving Play’
The theatre arts department presents a satirical comedy, “The Thanksgiving Play.” The show runs for seven days over two weekends starting at 7:30 p.m. with a closing matinee at 2 p.m. Nov. 16.
Admission is on a “pay what you can” basis as audience members are invited to donate to help support the production and the theatre arts department.

The Irene Carlson Gallery of Photography will hold the opening reception and artist walkthrough for the exhibit “While the Stars Look Down” by Fred Brashear Jr. from 4 p.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesday. The display is a photographic depiction of extraterrestrial desert landscapes after sundown.
Brashear teaches photography at the University of La Verne and is a Southern California artist who focuses on the interaction between humans and their natural environment.
LeoFM hosts “Campus Celebs” from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. every Thursday where they invite notable students, faculty and staff to DJ and provide personal insight on themselves, campus activities and campus organizations. The next show features President Pardis Mahdavi on Thursday. Tune in to 107.9 LeoFM to get to know the University’s new president.
The Glass House
Sky Ferreira, an artist with music from the motion picture “Baby Driver,” performs at the Glass House in Pomona on Nov. 25 with the doors opening at 7 p.m. With over half a million monthly listeners on Spotify, Sky Ferreira’s indie-pop music incorporates electro-pop and alternative rock into her sets.
