‘Solomon’s House’
Sarah Cusimano Miles, assistant professor of photography at Jackson State University, showcases her portfolio exploring the collections of the Anniston Museum of Natural History in Anniston, Alabama. The exhibit is on display in the Carlson Gallery until March 24.
‘The Hair Craft Project’
Artist Sonya Clark’s collection “The Hair Craft Project” is on exhibit now until April 27 in the Harris Gallery. Clark will speak about her unique project at 6 p.m. Tuesday in the Campus Center Ballroom. A reception will follow in the Harris Gallery. For more information, visit laverne.edu/lyceum.
Ground Floor Gallery
Photography majors’ work is exhibited in the Ground Floor Gallery on the first floor of Miller Hall. The exhibit, curated by senior photography major Jerri White, opened Thursday and will remain open for viewing until March.
Battle of the Bands
Wright Records presents Battle of the Bands round three at Tia Juana’s Saturday at 4 p.m. The show is for those 21 and older at 205 E Second St. in Pomona.
Broadway Gala
The Mountainside Master Chorale, directed by Assistant Professor of Music Irene Messoloras, will host a Broadway Gala at 3 p.m. March 18 at Taylor Hall in Claremont. The free event is themed around famous Broadway plays and will feature refreshments and live and silent auctions to fundraise for the Chorale.
