Slam Poetry

University of La Verne students will present “A Night of Slam Poetry,” from 8:30 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. on March 21 in the Jane Dibbell Cabaret Theater.

Senior Voice Recital

Senior music major Terry Dopson, baritone, will present his senior voice recital with Caelin Eager, music department accompanist, at 7:30 p.m. March 25 in Morgan Auditorium. Admission is free.

Music of Shawn Kirchner

Los Angeles based composer and songwriter Shawn Kirchner will perform as part of the Sundays at the Morgan concert series at 2 p.m. March 26 in Morgan Auditorium. The suggested donation amount is $20. Student admission is free.

Broadway Gala

Mountainside Master Chorale, directed by University of La Verne’s director of choral activities and vocal studies Irene Messoloras, will host a Broadway Gala at 3 p.m. March 18 at Taylor Hall in Claremont. The free event, themed around famous Broadway plays like “Rent” and “Les Misérables,” will feature refreshments and live and silent auctions to fundraise for the chorale. ‘42nd Street’

The Candlelight Pavilion Dinner Theater in Claremont is presenting the musical “42nd Street,” until March 23. The show includes a three-course meal during Broadway and off-Broadway performances. For more information, visit candlelightpavilion.com.
