Cole Porter
The music department will present “The Music of Cole Porter in Song and Conversion with Jonathan Mack and Reed Gratz” at 7:30 p.m. Saturday in Morgan Auditorium. The suggested donation is $10.
Barbershop Concert
The Acapella Barbershop Club will have its spring concert, celebrating the ensemble’s 125th anniversary, at 4 p.m. Sunday in Morgan Auditorium. Admission is free.
Broadway Showcase
University of La Verne Choral Music will present its spring showcase, featuring music from Broadway hits such as “Wicked,” at 7:30 p.m. May 5 and May 6 in Dailey Theatre. The suggested donation is $10.
Rockabilly Fest
Pitzer College’s LatinX Student Union will host its 10th Annual Rockabilly Festival 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. Saturday at Pitzer College in Claremont. The festival will feature local bands, a car show, vendors and food. All proceeds from the festival will got to support Pitzer College’s emergency DACA fund.
Winner’s Exhibit
The dA Center for the Arts in Pomona will host the Emerging Artists’ Exhibit with Watercolor Award Winners Exhibit. The Pomona Citywide High School Watercolor Contest award winners’ pieces will be on display for the awards ceremony at 6 p.m. May 6. The 10th Annual Pomona Unified School District’s Emerging Artists Exhibit will show the work of secondary students. Opening reception will be held from 6 to 9 p.m. on May 6 and the closing reception will be 6 to 8 p.m. on May 20.
