‘Dissent’
The Carlson Gallery presents “Alumni Allegories: Dissent,” a collaborative project between photography and writing. Students from Sean Bernard’s Writing 307 class will write an accompaniment to photographs by 22 alumni of the photography department. The exhibit will run through to Dec. 7. Gallery hours are 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Friday.
‘Site’
The Harris Art Gallery presents ‘Site,’ an exhibition featuring web design art from Chad Attie and Bettina Hubby. The exhibition will run through Tuesday. Gallery hours are 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Thursday.
‘Songs of Remembrance’
The University of La Verne Chamber Music Ensemble will perform “Songs of Remembrance” with Grace Xia Zhao, Jonathan Mack, Dennis Trembly and Karmen Suter. The performance starts 6 p.m., Sunday in Morgan Auditorium. Admission is free.
West African Concert
The West African Drum Ensemble will perform traditional music from the Malinke people of West Africa at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday in Morgan Auditorium. Admission is free.
Harvest Festival
The Pomona Harvest Festival Original Art and Craft Show will feature handcrafted originals, live music and food. The festival starts at 9 a.m. Friday and Saturday at the Fairplex Building 4 in Pomona. For more information visit harvestfestival.com.
