Letter to the Editor

Dear Editor,

I just wanted to write and say I think the article you did on Laura was outstanding!! [“Venturini appointed interim director of CDC,” Sept. 29] I appreciated how you stuck to the facts and captured Laura’s creativity and vision as she takes over as Interim Director.

I’d like to ask you to support the Career Development Center’s programs by asking the staff to write articles on the programs (especially prior to the event), because in my heart I know the programs are great and could benefit all students.

Choosing to leave La Verne to accept the Cerritos position was hard because every one there is wonderful, but I believe in professional development and advancement. By me accepting the Assistant Dean position here at Cerritos not only was in line with my career goals, but opened up the opportunity for Laura to advance in her career. Thank you for featuring Laura in an great article!
