The University of La Verne was directly affected as three oak trees have toppled over on campus in the past few months.

The La Verne baseball team faced the Endicott College Gulls in a doubleheader Saturday, winning the first game, 10-5, but dropping the ball in game two, losing 11-0 at Ben Hines Field.
