Debate Team to Discuss Playboy

In celebration of Women’s History Month, the La Verne Debate Team is hosting an all women public debate on the morality of posing for Playboy. A “Feminist” Bake Sale will also be going on during the debates from 9 a.m to 4 p.m. Tuesday in the Campus Center.

College of Law Info Session

An information session will be held from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Ontario regional campus. The session will introduce students to the program and explain the La Verne Law Experience.

GRE Mini Prep

The Learning Enhancement Center will offer students a GRE mini prep course starting April 14. For $25, students will receive 20 hours of classroom instruction, a Princeton Review exam prep book and a practice exam. Club Awards

The Club Awards application packet to vote on programs, events, services and individuals involved with on-campus clubs will be available Tuesday in the Office of Student Life. The deadline is April 17.

CAB Applications

Students interested in joining the Campus Activities Board are welcome to apply for the CAB executive board and “Cabbie” positions. Applications for executive board are due by noon April 4 in the Office of Student Life. “Cabbie” applications will be available Monday and are due at 3 p.m. April 11 in the OSL.
